Reverend Dr. Chad E. Rankin serves as Senior Pastor and visionary of the House of Hope Church, Texas. He accepted his calling to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ over 27 years ago. His passion and gift of preaching and teaching have allowed him to minister in different venues across the United States and abroad, including Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Barahona, Dominican Republic. Pastor Rankin has served in various ministry capacities, including an executive pastor, assistant pastor, young adult pastor, youth pastor, conference speaker, guest lecturer, and chapel speaker at Clear Spring High School, Kipp Academy, NAACP, the College of Biblical Studies-Houston and Dallas Theological Seminary.
Pastor Rankin earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in Leadership from the College of Biblical Studies-Houston in 2003. He earned a Master’s degree with honors in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2011. He also earned his Doctor of Ministry Degree in Preaching and Congregational Leadership from Northern Seminary (formerly Northern Baptist Theological Seminary) in 2015.
Dr. Rankin is a board member of the College of the Mainland Presidential Search Committee and Mainland Community Partnership. He has also served as a board member of Dickinson Economic Development Corporation and Open Bible Academcy. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated and a proud father of two young adults and one grandson.
